The region of Armagnac lies in Gascony, in the South West of France, not far from the Atlantic seaboard and at the footstep of the Pyrenees.		The geographic area is enclosed between the departments of Gers, Landes and Lot et Garonne, on clay and sandy soils with a continental climate.
